bobobark was designed not just to look good, but to do good. It is made from cork skin, collected in the forests of Portugal. As trees naturally shed their bark, we collect it and polish it in our atelier until the texture is as soft and supple as leather. This means your bag is made from a tree still alive and thriving in the forest, never harming the ecosystem. Besides being the ultimate eco-friendly material, cork is strong, durable, waterproof and three times lighter than leather, so you never have to carry unnecessary weight.

bobobark is crafted with the planet in mind. Besides ethically sourced cork bark, the bag’s lining and backings are made with 100% recycled cotton and other materials that meet or exceed the Global Recycled Standard. bobobark arrives at your door in plastic-free, recycled and recyclable packaging printed with soy ink. In partnership with One Tree Planted, we also balance our carbon footprint every year and give back to the forests, making bobobark the responsible choice for your everyday bag.
